One of the greatest teams ever assembled, the 1995-96 Kentucky Wildcats won 27 straight games, outscored opponents by an average of 22 points/game, featured nine players who made it to the NBA, ran through SEC play undefeated, and won the National Championship on their way to being dubbed “The Untouchables” by coach Rick Pitino. And let’s not forget about those iconic Converse “denim” jerseys that this UK team made famous. Led by Tony Delk and Ron Mercer, the Wildcats wore their white uniforms (with denim blue accents) for the championship game win over Syracuse, the program’s 6th title.
